The TESOL 2023 International Convention & English Language Expo will be held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Hotel Information

The TESOL 2023 headquarters hotel is the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center.  For each hotel rate, please go to the Hotel Rates & Reservations page.

To receive the negotiated room rate for TESOL Convention attendees, you must make your reservation in our Convention Registration system. These rates are not available if you contact the hotels directly and are available until 24 February 2023 or until the room block sells out, whichever comes first.

Hotel Location to MAX Rail Line

Each paid convention registrant will receive one complimentary TriMet Transit Hop Fastpass, which provides access to a TriMet bus, the Portland Streetcar or MAX Light Rail in the Portland Metropolitan area during the convention week (21-25 March 2023). 

This pass is also good for your TriMet transportation to the airport, provided you are departing before the expiration date on your pass. For information on routes and schedules, check www.trimet.org and www.portlandstreetcar.org

The pass is not replaceable. If lost, the fare for an adult TriMet pass is $2.50/2-hour ticket or $5.00/1-day.

Showcare housingprovider logov2Showcare is the only official TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo housing partner.  If you are contacted by any other group other than Showcare, recognize that they are not endorsed by TESOL. Despite their claims, they do not have access to our negotiated discounted rates. If you book outside of the official housing bureau, Showcare, TESOL cannot assist you with any problems incurred as a result of booking outside the official TESOL room block.
