A traditional rubric is generally too wordy, so it is difficult for the rater to follow each criteria while assessing an assignment. For example, if it has five columns (such as Content, Organization, Vocabulary, Accuracy, and Mechanics), each column requires at least four lines that represent the scores. This means that a rater should focus on 20 boxes(5*4). However, this one is simplified; thus, it is rater friendly.
