Registration Terms and Conditions

Space Is Limited: Register Early!

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Spaces for participants at the special rate are limited to six participants per course. This limit excludes self-study courses.

Payment

Payment for all purchase orders must be received in full before the start date of the course. Participants registering with a purchase order should follow up with their employer to ensure timely payment.

Refund Policy

Requests for refunds of registration fee must be received no later than ten calendar days before the start of a face to face event and five business days before the start of an online event. A $75 processing fee will be deducted from the amount to be refunded (this fee is waived for TESOL Global members). Virtual seminars and self-study online courses are nonrefundable. Registration fees are nontransferable.

Event Cancellation

TESOL reserves the right to cancel any course because of low registration or events beyond TESOL's control. In the unlikely event of cancellation, registrants will be notified and offered the option to switch to a different course or receive a full refund.

Professional Development Facilitator 

TESOL reserves the right to substitute event facilitators in the unlikely event that the facilitators listed cannot conduct the program. Substitution of event facilitators is not a cause for refund.

TESOL facilitators may receive honorarium for presenting at a TESOL learning events.

TESOL facilitators agree to present materials and contents that are educationally sound for the learning event and will provide timely feedback on a participants progress. Proper citations and permissions have been used and granted. If a facilitator’s proprietary interests are present in the learning event, TESOL will post this information on the event's webpage.

Certificate of Completion

TESOL provides certificate of completion with hours of professional development for each course participants complete. Participants earn 10 contact hours per week of online course. 

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

TESOL International Association is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.

Starting 1 November 2016, registrants can earn CEUs for completing TESOL's facilitated online courses, the TESOL Core Certificate Program, and the TESOL Certificate: Developing an Online Teaching Program. Click here for complete information about CEUs.

In signing up for a TESOL professional development event, TESOL requires  you to provide a certain amount of your personal data. Your privacy is very important to us.
