TESOL Member Resolution on Insurance for Part-Time Employment (1980)

Whereas in Fall 1979, TESOL initiated life insurance for its members who are employed full time; and

Whereas its members employed part time also need this benefit; and

Whereas health insurance is an equally vital benefit for both full-time and part-time employees;

Therefore Be it Resolved that the Executive Committee of TESOL make arrangements to provide to members of TESOL who are employed part-time optional health and life insurance plans and that the availability of such an option be communicated to the membership as soon as possible.
